A warm welcome to the Northamptonshire Cub Scouts Section website. My aim is to provide support and information to anyone working with Cub Scouts in Northamptonshire. The website will develop and help to keep everyone up-to-date with news, resources and events in Northamptonshire. The photo gallery is of Northamptonshire Cub Scouts and their leaders having fun, enjoying activities and generally illustrating why 8-10 year olds join Cub Scouts and become part of the worldwide family of Scouts. The Ocean Explorer 2008 website has now been updated. If you haven't taken a look yet, it is well worth paying a visit to www.oceanexplorer2008.org.uk Ocean Explorer 2008 resources are now available in the download section. You will find a number of "Programmes on a plate", and A-Z of programme ideas, an overview of what all sections may be doing in 2008 as part of their support for the Ocean Explorer 2008 Project, and a full colour poster of a tall ship. When 3 of these activities have been completed, you will be entitled to wear the Ocean Explorer badge with pride. The website resources are proving to be a great success, with over 1327 downloads from the Ocean Explorer section alone. |

Disney 2009 resources are now available from the Download section. You will find further information, including booking forms, Hotel Cheyenne details etc. Photographs from previous Disney weekends can be seen in the Gallery section. The dates for this International Nights Away Experience are 23rd-25th January 2009 The first bookings have already been received. Is your Cub Pack taking part ? The list is growing and we currently have 161 Leaders, Helpers and Cub Scouts taking part in this weekend. |
